Overview: The Energy Codes and Lighting Controls presentation will 1) Review why energy codes are important, 2) Discuss what is driving the development of energy codes, 3) Identify the energy codes used in the US and who is using which code, 4) Discuss what ASHRAE Standard 90.1 and IECC energy codes are and what they are not. 5) review lighting control requirements for ASHRAE Standard 90.1 and IECC, and 6) Discuss where energy codes are heading in future versions of the codes.
